Pumpkin Hollow Retreat Center is located 125 miles north of New York City (2-1/2 hours by car), an hour south of Albany, 15 minutes from the Mass. border, and 150 miles west of Boston (3 hours by car). We recommend not using your GPS - (guests have had difficulties with losing service or not being able to follow the back road directions!). Address: 1184 County Route 11 Craryville NY 12521
TRAIN: If you would like to take the train from New York City:
The closest Metro-North line station is Wassic, NY and the closest Amtrak line station is in Hudson, NY. On scheduled program weekends we pick up Friday afternoons and return Sunday afternoons. Please let us know in advance before making your arrangements,
CAR:
1. From the Taconic State Parkway:
Take the Claverack/Hillsdale Exit. Take a left if coming from the North or take a right if coming from the South onto Rt. 23 East. Continue on Rt. 23 for 2 miles and turn right onto County Route 11 just after the Elm Tree Motel. Continue on County Route 11 for 2.5 miles, Pumpkin Hollow will be on the left.
2. From the NY Thruway Exit 21 (Catskill):
Turn left at traffic light, follow signs for the Rip Van Winkle Bridge (RVWB). Go .5 miles, turn left after overpass - sign reads Rt 23 East. Continue 2.5 miles to the Bridge - after crossing Bridge continue straight on Rt. 23 East for 5.5 miles. At the 2nd traffic light (Mobil gas on right) turn left onto Rt.23 / 9H. Continue on Rt 23 / 9H for 3.7 miles to traffic light. Turn right onto Rt 23 East. Go 5.4 miles and cross over the Taconic State Pkwy, continue on 2 miles and turn right onto County Route 11, just after the Elm Tree Motel which will be on the right. Continue on County Route 11 for 2.5 miles, Pumpkin Hollow will be on left.
3. From Albany:
the quickest way is to take I-90 East towards Boston, this road ends at the Mass Pike Extension. Continue towards Boston, take exit B2 for Taconic State Pkwy. Follow directions from above.
OR
take the NYS Thruway south to exit #21 and follow above directions.

AIRPORT: Transportation to and from Pumpkin Hollow Retreat Center.
The closest airport served by major airlines is Albany International Airport, located about one hour away. Due to limited available resources, Pumpkin Hollow is unable to pick up guests at the airport.
