36th Annual Advanced Invitational Workshop on Therapeutic Touch

July 25-30,, 2008 (5 days: Fri dinner to Wed lunch)

This program, for experienced TT teachers and therapists, has been updated to include new techniques and implications for TT in light of new technologies, pharmaceuticals, genetic engineering, modes of communications, health policies and proposed legislation, questions of ethics and philosophic considerations, emerging applications of TT, current TT research and their implications, work with other than human intelligences, awareness of Inner Self, TT and the dying process, TT and psycho-spiritual crisis, preparation for transpersonal interactions and other program specific topics.

This workshop is open to those who have previously attended a Basic and Intermediate level Therapeutic Touch Workshop and have three years' expereience in the practice and/or teaching of Therapeutic Touch.

This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the New York State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurse's Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Contact hours available.

All applications will be reviewed by Dr. Krieger. Acceptance for the above workshop will be limited to those who are health professionals or lay persons involved in health-related activities, such as hospice volunteers.

 

Dr. Dolores Krieger will lead this workshop with coordination assistance by Diane Mey and additional help by Evy Cugelman.

Complete Room & Board/Program Fee : $480 and tenting $395.
