Platonic Approach to the Understanding of the Theosophy of the Stanzas/NE Theosophical Federation
The Seven Stanzas in HP Blavatsky's "The Secret Doctrine" deal with the esoteric (divine and physical) processes and mechanisms occurring in the Universe as it cycles through periods of manifestation and rest. We all know that it is not an easy subject as HPB (it's author) and her Masters used terms and imagery taken from India, China, Hermetic traditions, Kabalah, Pythagorean and Platonic traditions, among many others.
At these sessions we will learn to use several tools and techniques with the stanzas themselves, so they will come to life like flowers in springtime revealing their wisdom. One of these tools is the Law of Analogy of Correspondance- the famous Hermetic axiom: As Above, So Below. This will be used extensively so the participant will learn how to use it in its fullness; like to draw similiarities between the evolution of the Universe and the enfoldment of one's own life.
The seminar will be fully illustrated and given in a sharing environment. Handouts will be provided but Martin encourages bringing the Secret Doctrine, Vol I.

A long time student of Theosophy, Martin Leiderman has travelled extensively in Mexico, Central and South America, Europe and Eqypt, studying ancient myths and religions. For many years Martin has been a National lecturer for the Theosophical Society in America and has given talks and workshops nationally and internationally on subjects related to Theosophy, such as Comparative Ancient Religions and Mythologies, Alchemy, the Kabbalah and on HPB's The Secret Doctrine.
Martin and his wife lead a TS study group in LA, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Krotona School of Theosophy. Professionally he is an engineer working for Avionics Company.
