Intermediate Therapeutic Touch Program - Fall

October 5-7, 2018 Friday dinner through Sunday (additional day optional)

"Therapeutic Touch is a holistic, evidence based therapy that incorporates the intentional and compassionate use of universal energy to promote balance and well being." Therapeutic Touch International Inc. (TTIA).

Although taught and practiced all over the world, taking a couse in Therapeutic Touch at Pumpkin Hollow, the birthplace of Therapeutic Touch, is unique. It is within this pristine natural setting that Dora Kunz and Dr. Dolores Krieger, PhD, RN, first created the Therapeutic Touch Process, derived from their studies of the ancient practice of 'laying on of hands'. Based on the assumption that human beings are complex fields of energy, they saw that the ability to enhance healing in others is a natural human potential and one that could be taught to anyone who has a desire to help and promote healing in others or themselves. Although first taught extensively to nurese, the Therapeutic Touch course is open to laypeople and health professionals alike.

All Therapeutic Touch Programs at Pumpkin Hollow are taught by QTTT's (Qualified Therapeutic Touch Teachers) and follow the Krieger-Kunz method and TTIA guidelines.

At the completion of this 14 hour course each participant will have had a review of the basic concepts, history and technique with ample practice. Upon this solid foundation the participant will be exposed to a more extensive knowledge of the sbutle and complex energy fields of the human body. The curriculum will include the modulation of energy, use of color, exploring the chakra system, deepening the experience of centering, hands-on experience of providing TT with a partner practitioner and integrating Therapeutic Touch into everyday life. The faculty student ratio allows for personal attention. The atmosphere at Pumpkin Hollow is ideal for the deep contemplative nature and spiritual aspects of Therapeutic Touch and supports both the healing and the learning process. Completion of this course, taught by a QTTT fulfills another requirement to become a Qualified Therpeutic Touch Practitioner (QTTP) and is a prerequisite for the Advanced Invitational Therapeutic Touch Program.

Stay for an additional day! Special rate: $80 (includes overnight and 3 meals). Give yourself a 'gift of renewal' in the nurturing environment of Pumpkin Hollow. Enjoy self-healing, self-exploration and integration of the TT experience. We all need to break the momentum of our busy lives; this is your opportunity to create balance and deeply relax.
