Conscious Use of the Aura through Yoga Meditation and Therapeutic Touch

January 20 -22 Friday dinner through Sunday lunch

Conscious Use of the Aura through Yoga Meditation and Therapeutic Touch
January 20 -22 Friday dinner through Sunday lunch

Our theme this year is 'Conscious Use of the Aura' - based on a pamphlet Dora Kunz (a founder of Pumpkin Hollow and of Therapeutic Touch) wrote many years ago. We will explore the practice of 'aura yoga'. Through study of Dora Kunz' understanding of the human aura, participants are invited to deepen their perceptions of the human aura and the world around them using the practice of 'aura yoga' through hatha yoga, meditation and Therapeutic Touch.
Our annual program includes:
Meditation: We will experience meditation as quiet with a sense of flow, a practice for group or individual meditation.
Dora Kunz guidance underlies our experience of meditating together as a group and alone. Winter's pristine beauty and quietude are powerful energies to nurture and renewal of meditation as a way of life.

Hatha Yoga and movement: based on Carolyn's lifelong experience as a yoga practitioner/teacher and professional dancer in the ecstatic dance traditions of India and the Middle East. Carolyn offers individual attention which supports a person's interests, adapting all poses to their own needs and physical abilities. Laughter and 'being at ease' are important elements in the practice.

We will share Therapeutic Touch sessions with the added perspective of the 'conscious use of the aura'. Everyone will participate whether or not they are TT practitioners.

In the quietude and pristine beauty of winter everyone will have time alone to experience and expansion of their consciousness/aura - deepening their connection to Nature's healing energies of harmony and order.

Carolyn Kay Wheeler RN, RYT (registered yoga teacher) QTTT shares her rich life experience not only as yogini and dancer but as a long time resident in the sanctuary of Pumpkin Hollow.
