Transpersonal Nature of Therapeutic Touch

October 7-9, 2022 Friday dinner through Sunday

Taking a course at Pumpkin Hollow, the birthplace of Therapeutic Touch is unique. It is within this pristine natural setting that Dora Kunz and Dr. Dolores Krieger, PhD, RN first created the Therapeutic Touch Process, developed from their studies of ancient healing practices. Therapeutic Touch is currently taught and practiced worldwide.

"Therapeutic Touch is a holistic, evidence based therapy that incorporates the intentional and compassionate use of universal energy to promote balance and wellbeing." Therapeutic Touch International Associates (TTIA).

At the completion of this 14 hour course each participant will have had a review of the foundational/basic concepts, history and technique with ample practice. Upon this solid foundation the participant will be exposed to a more extensive knowledge of the subtle and complex energy fields of the human body. The curriculum will include energy field anatomy, transpersonal aspects of Therapeutic Touch, centers of consciousness, self-inquiry, ethical practice, and daily experience of providing Therapeutic Touch with another practitioner. The faculty student ratio allows for personal attention with an emphasis on hands on practice.

The atmosphere at Pumpkin Hollow is ideal for the contemplative nature and spiritual aspects of Therapeutic Touch and supports both healing and learning processes.

All Therapeutic Touch Programs at Pumpkin Hollow are taught by Qualified Therapeutic Touch Teachers (QTTT) and follow the Krieger-Kunz method and the guidelines developed by Therapeutic Touch International Association (TTIA), the international organization of Therapeutic Touch.

Due to the COVID pandemic, the Hollow reserves the right to follow the CDC guidelines current at the time of each program. Proof of vaccination, appropriate masking and social distancing is encouraged.
